About ACTC

Australian Connection Travel Company
The Australian Connection Travel Company (ACTC) was created from our desire to be the exemplary standard of service for small group luxury tourism in Australia.

We believe a great experience comes from even better communication! To facilitate this, we employ only the best bi-lingual guides (and former teachers) Australia has to offer.

We believe that a genuine travel experience is integrally linked to the connection you develop with the people, places & things you encounter. As such we strive tirelessly to use our knowledge & storytelling to give our guests a sense of connection to the beautiful, wondrous and ancient lands we visit. It is more than our job, it is our passion & pleasure to show you our Sunburnt Country in the most comfort, style & safety possible.

Whether we accompany you for a half day, or for 13 days, we endeavor to embody the friendly Spirit of Australia, entertain & educate our guests in a respectful & professional manner, on all things Australian. We go above & beyond to indulge our guests in an authentically Australian experience- not just another tour.

Clint Press

For nearly 20 years Clint has lead extended tours across most of the Australian continent, Fiji & New Zealand. With his lovely Spanish wife, Cristina Ojeda, providing the backbone of logistics, ACTC are ready to make your holiday experience the best it can be.

Clint is passionate about travel and considers himself lucky to have visited almost 50 countries, yet he believes he will continue traveling as long as he lives. His greatest experiences to date are the times spent living at the very heart of the Central Australian deserts in the Mutitjulu Aboriginal Community, located inside the iconic World Heritage listed Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, and the some 3.5 years he spent working as an English & Tourism teacher in both Logroño, La Rioja, & San Sebastian-Donostia, Pais Vasco, Spain.

Having grown up as a 7th generation Australian from the same small country town on the edge of the Outback (indeed his home town of Port Augusta is called the 'Crossroads of Australia' & the 'Gateway to the Outback'), Clint has his roots firmly planted in red soil- even though he currently calls Australia's largest city home- Sydney. Read more

Having graduated in Social Sciences, he worked as an apprentice of Archeology in the Brazilian National Parks and after graduation, left his home state of São Paulo to venture to the Northeast of his native country, living in resort beach towns with the biggest influx of foreign tourists in Brazil, where he gained extensive experience in the hotel & tourism industry.

Fabio moved to the Spanish Basque Country & spent 2 years working with tourists using his English language skills. During those years he mastered Spanish & traveled extensively in Europe, increasing his country count. He then left sunny Spain to live in London for another 2 years where he undertook a specialisation in Arts and when not tourg guiding, he uses his language skills working for Australian Art’s related tourism and entertainment, dealing with a multitude of visitors from every part of the world.
